In order to support employees in the bakery industry, the Minnesota Bakery Association is offering
4 scholarships of $500 to high school seniors and current/returning vocational/technical/college students.
Scholarship applicants are required to be one of the following:
- The owner of a retail bakery
- The child of the owner of a retail bakery
- An employee of a retail bakery
- The child of an employee of a retail bakery
- The bakery must be a member of the Minnesota Bakery Association
Preference will be given to applicants studying a bakery related curriculum but all fields of study are eligible.
Applicants must have a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Applications are due by May 1, 2006 (Subject to Change). And will be awarded at the Annual Convention.
(If you are awarded a scholarship you must provide a copy of grades before the Annual Convention.)
