Internationally known Pastry Artist and Judge, Mike Terry has over 20 years experience as a respected instructor. He previously had 14 Years as a Toppings and Icings Specialist for Rich Products.
He has been featured in Slice and American Cake Decorating Magazine and appeared on TLC’S Ultimate Cake Off season 1 & 2. He has taught many years at ICES (International Society of Cake Exploration), International Conventions and RBA conventions. Mike is an eight-time winner of the NC Food Dealers Show for Sculptures, as well as other edible works of art. He is known for his piping work of flowers and figures with Non-dairy icings and
Buttercreme icings. Mike has also produced two DVD’s: Fun With Flowers 101, and Fun With Figures 201 and a new Fat Buddies video CD.
On Saturday, February 23, Mike will be teaching “Piping Fat Buddies” In this class you will learn the basics of figure piping in a focused and fun way while you learn a number of practical applications of your new “Fat Buddies” for holiday and special occasion cakes.
This Hands On Class runs from 8:00- 11:00 a.m. and is limited to 30 attendees. The cost of this class is $60
On Sunday, February 24 Mike will be teaching “Flowers and Inscriptions” A great class for beginning cake decorators to learn the basic techniques for buttercream flowers, with roses and beyond. This class will also teach you ways to give your inscriptions that professional touch. This Hands On Class runs from 8:00- 10:00 a.m. and is also limited to 30 students. This class is $60.
